You pray a lot, you worry, you pray even harder, you cry out to God and ask him to look over your son, please Lord bring him home to us safe and sound.
The days turn into weeks, the weeks into months, and then you get the call, a familiar yet different voice, he's home on American soil! All praise be to God! Now he's far from a country which ends in a 'stan, just in time for the 4th of July.
Free from worry, free from pain, our airman is home, and this will be the best 4th of July ever!
