"You Are Loved"

You are loved.

God loves you, and he will never forsake you, no matter how dark and lonely the world may sometimes seem.

We love you.

You have a lot of brothers- and sisters-in-Christ who are here for you. To laugh, cry, pray, and play with too!

If your heart is breaking, and you need someone to love on you this Father's Day, come to our New Hope Canoe Club tent on Nanakuli Beach this Sunday, where someone will invariably greet you with a smile and a hug, a place where God's children are always welcome.

"Nanakuli to New York"

Or, from "The Big Pineapple to the Big Apple"

As our paddlers prepare for this Sunday's Leeward Kai Father's Day Regatta, another group of our paddlers are also ready to start spreading the (good) news in the city that's so nice, they named it twice - New York, New York!

It's the first time we've entered this race, and we can't wait to hear how cool it was to paddle in the 2009 Liberty World Outrigger Competition on Saturday, June 27.
God Speed New Hope New York paddlers, and give our regards to Broadway!

The Kai 'elua is back on the water thanks to the tireless work of Luana.
Our canoe club thanked her by singing a thank you song (chicken skin moment).
God guided our crews. More crews qualified for the 4th of July race at Waikiki Beach. What a wonderful day at Kailua Beach.
God bless you!
