"Hook Him Up"

Howzit Uncle,

I'm interested in racing this Saturday but have no crew.

Your Loving Nephew,

Jason

Dear Jason,

Long time no spock u good nephew. How's college?

I have a suggestion.

Give Aunty Carol a call (her number is below), and if she hears about a crew who needs a paddler, you might be able to land a seat that way.

Solid!

"Ask Uncle Hut"

Uncle,
I saw a young woman paddler wearing a New Hope Canoe Club paddling jersey at today's Kanaka Ikaika (Hawai'i Kai to Kaimana Beach) Race.
She did really good. Who was that?
Phoebe
Dear Phoebe,
We checked it out, and it is none other than our very own Jerika Moniz!
She came in 34 of 77 overall, and first place in her division (Female Jr. 18 & under).
Jerika will be competing against the best OC-1 Na Opio racers from here and Tahiti at Ke'ehi Lagoon on March 1st and 2nd.
Let's join her ohana that weekend and cheer on this terrific young lady!

"My Bucket List"

Didn't catch the movie...did see the trailer...I get the drift.

It wasn't because I never had the opportunity to go to the Pro Bowl until this year (GOD willing).

Life I guess, and before you know it the game might be played somewhere else (GOD forbid).

Well, cross this one off of my life to-do list, it's long overdue.

Go Seahawks!
